Will you Go all in?

When I was a kid, I can still remember how excited I am to go home after school because all of my friends are waiting for me so we can play. I will just drop my bag, change my clothes and run as fast as wind. “I-sa, da-lawa, tat-lo, tsa” remember those lines? Yes! If you are in my age now, I bet you played that before. 20’s kids, hello “TEKS”. It’s a small colored paper with a dragon ball design and you will use it by throwing all your aces and when you win, you will get the amount of TEKS that you put in line. Sounds crazy? But believe me we loved to play with that before. We will play the whole afternoon until all of us will bet every single TEKS we have, we call that “Pati-pato” means all the cards in your hands including your ace. Some of us will go home happy because he got all our cards, most of us will try our luck the next day.
When I go all in that day, I know whatever happens, I needed to accept that fact. Am I going home a winner, or a loser? But that is not the point of playing. No matter what happens that day, we will all go home happy, why? because we enjoy the very little reason that we are together.
Today, as we go on in our life, are we still that kind of person who is willing to give all to our God. We don’t know what will happen in the future, but are we willing to sacrifice everything today because God deserve all what we got. In your work, are you willing to do every
thing for your company? In your family, are you willing to sacrifice Friday night out just to be with them?
Life is short my friend, as I turn my pages every single day and it punches me in the head learning about the reality that I’m close enough to my 30’s, I then realize that life is not just about living longer, but life is about giving everything today as if today will be your last day.
